Review #4: Street Dance 3D 2010

In order to win the Street Dance Championships, a dance crew is forced to work with ballet dancers from the Royal Dance School in exchange for rehearsal space. (IMDB)

Short synopsis
In inner city London, a street dance crew is on the verge of breaking up after its leader, Jay, leaves the group unexpectedly. The group loses the use of their rehearsal space, forcing them to try and raise money or practice in other locations. Eventually they secure a space in a ballet school, on the condition that they include five ballet dancers in their routine. At first, they struggle to get along, but they all become friends in the end.

Basically, Street Dance is pretty much like the first Step Up, but unlike Step Up, we can see how from time to time, the crew eventually got along with the ballet team and combined their respective style, Ballet and street dances into their choreograph. I got not much to say about the story line though. Its actually pretty decent already. We can see how they try to focus on the dances in the movie. Loved it, enjoyed it! Not to mention they also featured one of the best dance crew in Britain, the Diversity! Anyway, to those who love a dance flick movie, I recommend this one for you guys, big time! Imdb gave it a 5.2 out of 10, but I think it deserve 7...
